Broadway's ON THE TOWN Releases Two-Disc Cast Album Today

The new Broadway revival of On The Town was recorded in November 2014 for a two-disc cast album to be released by PS Classics. On The Town, which features a book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, music by Leonard Bernstein, and is based on an idea by Jerome Robbins, is currently running at Broadway's Lyric Theatre (213 W 42nd St, New York, NY 10036). The album is out today, March 3, at www.PSClassics.com.

Pittsburgh CLO is pleased to announce the creative team for the ?2015 Summer Season at the Benedum Center. These Pittsburgh CLO veterans will bring Broadway's best to life at the Benedum Center all summer long. The 2015 Season includes MARY POPPINS (June 9 - 21), MAN OF LA MANCHA (June 23 - 28), GYPSY (July 10 - 19), THE WEDDING SINGER (July 24 - August 2) and the National Tours of KINKY BOOTS (August 4 - 9) and Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA (August 11 - 16).

The new Broadway revival of On The Town was recorded in November 2014 for a two-disc cast album to be released by PS Classics. After announcing a previous date for January 20, the label's website now lists a March 3 release.

Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Film and stage legend and two-time Tony Award winner Lauren Bacall, passed away last week (first reported by TMZ) at the age of 89.
