Should you avoid seeing the show? For God’s sake, no. You will miss what is surely going to be one of the most talked about pieces of work in Houston’s theatrical history. Go see it, and make your own call whether you love or hate it. But don’t let them brainwash you into thinking this is only about love because it is also about repulsion, and that is okay. It is very much as if David Cronenberg and David Lynch made a movie, and Jim Henson designed the sex scenes.

This month, I had the pleasure of attending Amber’s concert tour stop in Vancouver, BC and chatting with Amber on behalf of BroadwayWorld. Reflecting on both her recent “No More Sad Songs” tour as well as her career past and present, it was clear that her journey as an artist was about more than just her music.

Hiro Iida: Known as an electronic music designer making waves worldwide, he's a sound craftsman designing the sound of musicals. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has won two Grammy Awards. Some of his notable works include 'The Notebook THE MUSICAL,' 'THE GREAT GATSBY,' 'Kimberly Akimbo,' 'Tootsie' on Broadway, 'MJ THE MUSICAL,' 'Mean Girls' in the UK, 'The Man Who Laughs,' 'Mata Hari,' and 'XCALIBUR' in Korea, as well as 'DEATH NOTE THE MUSICAL,' 'Musical IKIRU,' and 'Your Lie in April' in Japan. He has also provided music to notable figures like Akiko Yano.

Tony Award winner Maryann Plunkett has played a wide range of roles in her Broadway career. The Lowell native’s latest, an elderly woman dealing with dementia, in “The Notebook: The Musical,” may be her most personal, however, as she recalls her own mother’s struggle with debilitating memory loss to bring her current character to life.

(帰ってきたらいっぱいして。)' (2023) and “Can’t Erase Her (消しゴムをくれた女子を好きになった。)' (2022). Additionally, as Ae! group, they regularly appear on 'Ae!!!!!! Iko (Aぇ!!!!!!ゐこ)' (MBS TV) as their own programs, “asapara - s (あさパラS)' (Yomiuri TV), and “Dodesuka! (ドデスカ！)' (Nagoya TV). Starting from May, they will embark on a debut tour covering 8 cities nationwide. In this interview, Ken discusses the comedy 'COME VISIT! The future of theatre is in good hands. Neely Hebert, a senior at Rio Americano, is making a name for herself in the world of entertainment. While her focus is on film, she is also forging a path on the stage.
