GREY'S ANATOMY Takes Adults 18-49 on Thursday with Live + 7 Day Lift

Based on Live + 7 Day ratings among Adults 18-49, ABC's Modern Family (5.8 rating) moved ahead of NBC's The Voice, beating the Monday edition by 9% (5.3 rating) and the Tuesday edition by a full rating point (+21% - 4.8 rating). The ABC sitcom also solidified its rank as Wednesday's #1 TV show, growing its lead over Fox's American Idol-Weds (3.4) to a huge 71% with young adults (versus 24% in the initial Live + Same Day ratings). Hello, Dolly! will run from June 28 - September 8 at the Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, Conn. Official Press Opening will be July 17, 2013.Leading the cast in the role of Dolly Levi will be cabaret diva Klea Blackhurst. Ms. Blackhurst is best known for her award-winning tribute to Ethel Merman, Everything the Traffic Will Allow, which she has performed in venues across the U.S. and in London. She was most recently seen in Happy Huntingat The York Theatre. She also created the role of Miss Lemon in the new musical The Nutty Professor, which premiered this past summer in Nashville. Bellevue Little Theatre Opens LEAVING IOWA, 5/31

Bellevue Little Theatre, 203 W. Mission in Bellevue will present the family comedy, 'Leaving Iowa', the last production of the season, on May 31, June 1, 2, 7, 8, 9, and 14, 15, 16. The production begins at 8 pm on Fri. and Sat. evenings and at 2 pm on Sunday. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for Seniors, and $9 for students with proper ID. The Amoralists to Stage RANTOUL AND DIE, 6/12-7/20

Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. Presents UNCLE BOB, Opening 6/13

Mary-Arrchie Theater Co. is excited to announce that on it's 27th Anniversary, Thursday, June 13, 2013 at 8 p.m. it will open a production of Austin Pendleton's Uncle Bob. It will run Thursday-Saturday at 8 p.m.and Sunday at 7 p.m. Tickets will be $25. There will be previews on June 11 and 12 at 8 p.m. and the preview ticket price will be $15. It will be mounted at Angel Island which is at 735 W. Sheridan in Chicago, Illinois. There is parking available at the Mobil Gas station across from the theater for a price to be determined by Mobil. BWW Reviews: John Cranko's ONEGIN at American Ballet Theatre

John Cranko's Onegin was recently presented by American Ballet Theatre. As I expected, the reviews weren't great. It seems Cranko never commands much respect over here. The reviews all describe the work in the same way: empty, boring, sleep-inducing. But I don't agree. Sure, the ballet could be shortened, but aren't there many ballets like that. One thing it does offer: wonderful acting parts for dancers. (more...)
