THE LION KING Begins 5-Week Run at Tulsa Performing Arts Center Tonightby BWW News Desk - Jun 6, 2013The Tulsa return of Disney's The Lion King opens tonight, Thursday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center for a limited engagement of five weeks through Sunday, July 7. In Tulsa, The Lion King will play Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday* evenings at 7:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m., Saturday matinees at 2:00 p.m., Sunday matinees at 1:00 p.m. and Sunday evenings at 6:30 p.m. with additional performances on Monday, July 1 at 7:30 p.m. and Friday, July 5 at 1:00 p.m. *There will be no performances on Thursday, July 4 in observance of Independence Day. "Thus far sales have been strong, but there are still great seats available" said Ed Payton, Chief Executive Officer, Celebrity Attractions. WICKED to Offer $25 Lottery at Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, Begin. 6/12by BWW News Desk - Jun 5, 2013A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is returning to the Marcus Center with performances from June 12-July 7. Two and one-half hours prior to each performance, people who present themselves at the Marcus Center box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum; thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of orchestra seats at $25 each, cash only. This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person. Lottery participants must have a valid photo ID when submitting their entry form and, if chosen, when purchasing tickets. (more...)
