MCC THEATER (Robert LuPone, Bernard Telsey, Artistic Directors; William Cantler, Associate Artistic Director; Blake West, Executive Director) today announced that Jennifer Van Dyck, Scott Parkinson, Sarah Rafferty and Jonathan Walker will complete the cast for their production of Charles Busch's The Third Story, directed by Carl Andress. As previously announced Kathleen Turner and Mr. Busch will appear as dueling divas.

Producer Howard Panter for Ambassador Theatre Group and co-producers Tulchin/Bartner/Jenkins, Bill Kenwright, Darren Bagert, and Tom Gregory announced today that Craig Bierko (Tony Award nominee for The Music Man; Scary Movie 4) will star as 'Sky Masterson' and Kate Jennings Grant (Proof) will also star as 'Sarah Brown' in the new Broadway production of the greatest musical comedy GUYS AND DOLLS.
Friday, November 7th, features a special PRE-PARTY edition of THE AFTER PARTY. This one night only event will present THE AFTER PARTY from 7:30pm to Midnight, rather than its usual time of 10:30pm to 4am. THE AFTER PARTY's PRE-PARTY will feature Avenue Q's SHARON WHEATLEY and Tale of Two Cities' DEVIN RICHARDS. All will be on hand to greet fans and perform as only they can.
A new production of GUYS AND DOLLS, directed by Tony-winner Des McAnuff will begin previews on February 3, 2009 at Broadway's Nederlander Theatre. Opening Night is March 1.
The Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario has announced the two musicals for the season, both with roots in the classics, are West Side Story and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum.
Today it was announced that GUYS AND DOLLS will open on Broadway for the first time in 17 years in the spring of 2009 at a Nederlander Theatre to be announced. With music and lyrics by Frank Loesser and book by Jo Swerling and Abe Burrows, this production is the first joint Broadway project by director Des McAnuff and Sergio Trujillo since Jersey Boys.
