On March 30, 2015, Virginia's Tony Award-winning Signature Theatre will honor the multiple Tony Award-winning Broadway playwright and director James Lapine with the company's sixth Stephen Sondheim Award. The award, established in 2009 in honor of America's most influential musical theatre writer and composer, will be presented at a black-tie Gala Benefit at the Embassy of Italy. The Sondheim Award Gala will benefit Signature Theatre's artistic, education, and community programs.

Hollywood's legendary El Capitan Theatre presents a special engagement of Disney's 'Into The Woods,' from Dec. 25, 2014 - Jan. 11, 2015. I'm sure 'excited AND scared' sums up the feelings held by Kevin Connors and Jim Schilling when faced with their latest venture - moving Music Theatre of Connecticut from its quaint and cozy home in the basement of a Westport strip mall to the spacious and state-of-the-art surroundings at the Company's new location at 509 Westport Avenue in Norwalk, CT. However, 'excited' might be the dominant emotion.

Mercer County Community College's (MCCC) Kelsey Theatre is rolling out the classics for the 2014-15 season.
