The Curious Case of Shiloh and Zahara at The Main Stage Theater for 6 performances only, July 15th -July 30th. Stage 13 will also be hosting a fundraiser at Bar 13 (35 East 13th St.) on Saturday July 11th, which will include drinks, food and entertainment.
Various online sources are revealing that American Idol finalist and Broadway belter Diana DeGarmo will be joining THE TOXIC AVENGER later this summer. While there has been no official word, sources close to the production have announced the news of her upcoming arrival. DeGarmo will replace Celina Carvajal who currently stars in the production, Carvajal was a temporary replacement in the hit musical. Celina Carvajal assumed the role of Sarah, the sexy, blind librarian on Monday, June 15th. Original cast member Sara Chase left the production to create three roles in the musical The First Wives Club which is premiering at the Old Globe Theatre in San Diego.

The Alchemy Theatre, in association with LAByrinth Theater Company, are presenting ?Sweet Storm? by Scott Hudson, who was recently awarded the Daryl Roth 2009 Creative Spirit Award, Off Broadway at The Kirk Theatre (Theatre Row), 410 West 42nd Street, NYC. Padraic Lillis directs the new play that features Jamie Dunn and Eric T. Miller. The opening is next Wednesday, June 17 at 7 pm and the show has now been extended an additional week until July 12. The Scenic & Costume Designer is Lea Umberger; the Lighting Designer is Sarah Sidman and the Sound Designer is Elizabeth Rhodes.
