BroadwayWorld's Kevin Pollack was lucky enough to get a one-on-one exclusive with Oscar and Grammy winner and 6-Time Tony nominee Stephen Schwartz this past weekend on his stop through Chicago at The McAninch Arts Center at College. His tour stop was only one of a few for a show entitled 'An Evening with Stephen Schwartz and Friends.'

 The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre opens its 2016/2017 Ellen Arnold Groff Studio Series with a chilling Victorian thriller in the Tell Studio Theatre. The Ira Levin mystery, Veronica's Room, runs through October 30, with two added performances on Sunday, October 23 and Sunday, October 30 at 6:30 pm.

With Autumn now upon us and Christmas fast approaching, The Bristol Hippodrome is delighted to confirm the full casting for this year's magical family pantomime Cinderella starring  national icons Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean as the Fairy Godparents as previously announced.

Qdos Entertainment's production of Cinderella will run at the London Palladium for five weeks only over the Festive season from Saturday 10 December 2016 to Sunday 15 January 2017, with press night on Wednesday 14 December 2016.

The Chicago Premiere of playwright Matty Selman's "Uncle Philip's Coat" will run at the Greenhouse Theater Center (2257 N. Lincoln Ave) Nov. 27 - Dec. 31. Directed by Elizabeth Margoliusand starring Gene Weygandt (best known as The Wonderful Wizard of Oz in "Wicked" in Chicago and on Broadway), "Uncle Philip's Coat" follows Matty on his humorous and heartfelt journey of personal discovery, sparked by his inheritance of a tattered coat from his eccentric Russian-Jewish immigrant uncle Philip. 

The UK premiere of Lizzie, a brand new gothic rock musical comes to Greenwich Theatre next year following a run at Frederica Teater, Denmark in January 2017.

Natasha J Barnes who will play the title role of Cinderella, Suzie Chard and Wendy Sommerville who will play The Wicked Stepsisters complete the casting for the London Palladium Pantomime this Christmas. Revolutionizing the live musical theater experience, the acclaimed company For The Record makes its triumphant return to Los Angeles in a new production, For The Record: Scorsese - American Crime Requiem. This new show will bring the legendary filmmaker's soundtracks to life in a new generation cabaret from September 21 through October 16 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) just announced full casting for the first two shows of the 2016/17 season, NAT TURNER IN JERUSALEM and OTHELLO.

The Play That Goes Wrong, the West End's Olivier Award winning box office hit, announces a major national tour for 2017. Opening at Theatre Royal Bath on 10 January, the production will visit 30 venues nationwide until the end of July 2017, including Newcastle Theatre Royal, Belgrade Theatre Coventry, The Mercury Theatre Colchester, Cambridge Arts Theatre and Mayflower Theatre Southampton (full list of tour dates to be confirmed). The West End production also announces a new booking period, with tickets going on sale until 10 September 2017 at the Duchess Theatre, London.
