The nonprofit Sundance Institute announced today the showcase of new independent feature films selected across all categories for the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. The Festival hosts screenings in Park City, Salt Lake City and at Sundance Mountain Resort, from January 24 - February 3, 2019.
Since the release of their new album Landscape, Future Generations have spent more time in the tour van than at home. That trend will continue into 2019 as the band have just confirmed a tour of the U.S. as the support for Magic City Hippies. The dates kick off January 10 in Indianapolis and conclude February 10 in New Orleans. Along the way they will play Chicago, Seattle and Los Angeles.
A politically-charged production of the gruesome musical Sweeney Todd (Fri 12 Apr to Sat 18 May) will be brought to life on the Everyman stage in April 2019. Directed by Nick Bagnall, the production explores the social inequalities in a decaying nineteenth century England ruled by the corruption of the upper classes.
