Inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, Hamilton will now run an additional four weeks through Sunday, May 3 with an official press opening on Tuesday, February 17, as BroadwayWorld reported yesterday. Miranda and some of his castmates recently chatted with the New York Times about the young men that they are playing. Miranda commented: 'Not just young people but people. We have deified them so much; they're on rocks in South Dakota. But they were people, and the flaws they had creep into everything we have now. The fights Jefferson and Hamilton have in the show are the fights we are still having.'

BWW Recap: Broadway's Biggest BACHELOR Fan, Patti Murin, Recaps the Search for Chris' 'Soulemate'
by Patti Murin - Jan 5, 2015

'Iowa is God's country,' says Chris Soules, America's First Farmer Bachelor (or AFFB). Chris was the hands-down fan favorite from last season of 'The Bachelorette' starring Andi Dorffman, mainly because of his charm, All-American good looks, and seemingly complete normality on a franchise riddled with potential sociopaths. In the requisite introductory sequence, Chris drives a tractor, gazes lovingly at his crops, and tastes a plant (peas? beans? what is it??) as he declares that 'love is a lot like farming,' and uses the word 'journey' for the first of many times this season.

BWW Reviews: Lower Ossington Theater's HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is Loud, Electric, and Shocking
by Brittany Goldfield Rodrigues - May 19, 2014

Cult classic HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH is making waves on Broadway right now with Neil Patrick Harris, so Torontonians will be happy to know that they can catch a production of the edgy rock musical. The Lower Ossington theater is currently staging its own production of the musical about an East German transgender singer who fronts a fictional rock and roll band. The high-energy story tackles emotional plot points as the story goes on, as the audience learns that Hedwig, formerly Hansel, suffered a botched gender reassignment surgery in order to wed his love who wanted to move to West Germany.
