HIGHLAND HALL parents and performers Bruce Davison, Amy Brenneman, Brooke Smith, Elizabeth Perkins, Saul Rubinek, Bruce Weitz, Fred Goss, Jim Ortlieb, and Wendie Malick present a staged reading of James R. Winker's adaptation of THE CANTERBURY TALES, which premiered to high acclaim in 1984 at the Mark Taper Forum.
Variety is reporting that Carla Gugino and Pablo Schreiber have been cast alongside Brian Dennehy in 'Desire Under the Elms', which is run at Chicago's Goodman Theater from January 17, 2009 to February 22, 2009. The paper reports that the show is then headed to Broadway.
The Donmar Warehouse will present Piaf by Pam Gems. The cast will feature Shane Attwooll, Phillip Browne, Lorraine Bruce, Luke Evans, Michael Hadley, Katherine Kingsley, Leon Lopez, Stuart Neal, Elena Roger, Steve John Shepher. The director is Jamie Lloyd with set design by Soutra Gilmour, lighting design by Neil Austin, sound design by Christopher Shutt and original composition by Ben and Max Ringham. Nigel Lilley is the musical director. The show will run from August 8th - September 20th with an official opening on Wednesday August 13th .
