Dark & Stormy Productions today announces the producers, venue, and partners for its upcoming production of Extremities by William Mastrosimone. Previously, Dark & Stormy has presented Outside Providence by Edward Allan Baker, Speed-the-Plow by David Mamet, The Receptionist by Adam Bock, The Drunken City by Adam Bock, and The Hothouse by Harold Pinter. Extremities will be the first production of Dark & Stormy's 2015 season.

The 69th Annual Tony Awards are this Sunday June 7th at 8/9c hosted by Kristin Chenoweth and Alan Cumming. It's the biggest award show of the Broadway season and it closes out a long award season for Broadway and Off-Broadway musicals and plays. The latest local reincarnation currently at Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theatre, Claremont until June 28 is lovingly directed by Chuck Ketter and excellently choreographed by Roger Castellano.
Broadway Manager, Producer and BC/EFA Activist Peter Neufeld Passes Away at 78

A successful Broadway company manager, general manager and producer for more than 20 years, Peter Neufeld passed away peacefully after a long battle with Parkinson's disease this morning, January 27, 2015, at The Actors Fund's Lillian Booth Residence in Englewood, NJ, where he had been living since 2007. He was 78.

Philip Quast to Reprise Role as 'Judge Turpin' in ENO's SWEENEY TODD

The Daily Mail's Baz Bamigboye just revealed via Twitter that Olivier winner Philip Quast, who played 'Judge Turpin' in the New York Philharmonic's SWEENEY TODD, will reprise his role in the musical at English National Opera. He will reunite with Bryn Terfel in the title role and Emma Thompson as 'Mrs. Lovett'.
