Artistic Director Daniel Evans today announces the company for his new production of Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's musical Show Boat.

Pasadena native Kacee Clanton, also from the Broadway production of A NIGHT WITH JANIS JOPLIN, will alternate the role of Janis Joplin with Davies.

BROADWAY GYPSY TEA DANCE recently gathered at the rooftop bar Top of the Strand at the Strand Hotel (33 West 37th Street) to celebrate Chita Rivera's 2015 Tony Award nomination, enlisting dancers from most of Broadway's shows. Those represented included The King & I, Aladdin, Kinky Boots, Something Rotten, Wicked, American in Paris, The Lion King and gypsies who danced with Rivera in her last Broadway show A Dancer's Life. URINAL - O Musical, the Brazilian version of URINITOWN, directed by Ze Henrique de Paula, arrives in Sao Paulo at the Teatro do Nucleo Experimental, in Barra Funda. The stage production, whose project was awarded by Ze Renato Theater Award, has as its main inspiration the German cabarets of the first half of the twentieth century, especially the works of Bertolt Brecht and Kurt Weill.
