Rubicon Theatre Company just announced stage and screen veterans Linda Purl, Brett Rickaby and Peter Van Norden will star in the company's mainstage production of the Tony-Award winning play COPENHAGEN, directed by international artist Judy Hegarty Lovett.

For three decades, the Grammy-winning, funk/soul super group The Commodores, comprised of Walter 'Clyde' Orange, William 'WAK' King, and James Dean 'J.D.' Gobodo-Madikizela is a member of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission determined to understand his actions. She questions de Kock, who is sentenced to two life terms plus 212 years for crimes against humanity, murder, conspiracy to murder, attempted murder, assault, kidnapping, illegal possession of firearms, and fraud.

Theater for the New City, Crystal Field, Executive Director, and The After Dinner Opera Company present two new American operatic musical adaptations from classical works, Seymour Barab's operatic parody Out the Window based upon Georges Feydeux's farce 'Par La Fenetre;' and Rappaccini's Daughter, based on Nathaniel Hawthorne's gothic short story, with libretto by Linsey Abrams and music by Michael Cohen. From September 3 through September 11, 2014, the critically acclaimed Silk Road Ensemble will travel to Europe for a concert tour with renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma, bringing their unique border-crossing musical experience to audiences in Izmir and Istanbul, Turkey; Paris; Amsterdam; and Luxembourg. This tour marks the first performances by the group in Turkey and Luxembourg. A full tour schedule with information for individual concerts is available on the Silkroad website.
