Dixon Place, Ellie Covan, founder and artistic director, proudly announces SUPPER AT THE SALON, a special evening of dinner and entertainment which will take place on the mainstage theater at Dixon Place on Monday, September 15th, with cocktails beginning in the lounge at 6:30 PM. The evening will include performances by Stew (Passing Strange), Nancy Giles ('CBS Sunday Morning'), Broadway's Ted Keegan (Phantom of the Opera, Cyrano, Camelot), award-winning aerial troupe LAVA, and more to be announced, and will be hosted by Bindlestiff Family Cirkus founder, Keith Nelson. Also that evening, four honorees will receive the iconic Dixon Place mini chair award for their contributions to the arts and support of Dixon Place: award winning actor-writer Peggy Shaw; The Jerome Foundation, celebrating its 50th Anniversary; Dixon Place Board member Eric Jensen, and theater supporter Yoshiko Kakuga.

A great, big Broadway season is on its way, with fourteen productions already slated to open in the next few months. The musical will run June 13 - 29 in Hobby Center's Sarofim Hall and then play the Atlanta premiere at the Fabulous Fox Theatre from July 8 - 13. TUTS invites everyone to take a trip "under the sea" including all the familiar classic songs plus a few new ones along with a story that charms people of all ages!

All the Way, the new play by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan, starring BREAKING BAD's Bryan Cranston, is currently in previews on Broadway at the Neil Simon Theatre. The production officially opens on Thursday, March 6, 2014 for a strictly limited engagement. New cast members Susan Graham (Sycorax) and Andriana Chuchman (Miranda) join many of the principal singers who appeared in the work's world premiere: David Daniels as Prospero, Plácido Domingo as Neptune, Danielle de Niese as Ariel, Anthony Roth Costanzo as Ferdinand, and Luca Pisaroni as Caliban. The four mismatched Athenian lovers will be sung by Elizabeth DeShong, who sang Hermia in the world premiere, joined by new cast members Janai Brugger (Helena), Andrew Stenson (Demetrius), and Nicholas Pallesen (Lysander) completing the quartet of Athenian lovers.

Celebrity Series of Boston celebrates its 75th Anniversary Season and brings in Tony Award-winning baritone Brian Stokes Mitchell for his third appearance. "We are screening a total of twenty four feature films and more than 30 shorts this year," Michael C. Green, Managing Director of The Palm Springs Cultural Center, said. "This has been a banner year for LGBT filmmaking, which made the selection process even more difficult, but in the end, I think we've put together a schedule that may be our best ever."

Moonlight Stage Productions' 33rd summer season continues with the Broadway hit YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, presented professionally for the first time in Southern California, with performances now through September 7. YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, based on the hilarious 1974 film by Mel Brooks and Gene Wilder that spoofed the horror film genre, opened on Broadway in 2007 and toured the U.S. in 2009.
