'One Night Stand" (ONS), a monthly cabaret series, which has been packing in the crowds at 12 Monkeys Music Hall & Pub, Century City Mall, in Makati City since April 2015, presented last Tuesday, August 2, its eight show this year, "I Miss Saigon." Directed by Joaquin Valdes, this special performance has featured "Miss Saigon" alums Tanya Manalang, Raul Montesa, Tricia Canilao-Buser, Ariel Reonal, and Pinky Amador. As a special treat to "Miss Saigon" fans in the audience, London's West End actors MiG Ayesa and Leo Valdez showed up and joined the cast on stage.

Actors' Equity Association (Equity) today named Hamilton, Spring Awakening and Waitress the co-recipients of the Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2015-16 theatrical season.

The critically acclaimed production of Green Day's hit musical, American Idiot, will be performing a special 'Rock-A-Long' performance for one night only on Thursday 8 September 2016. Following on from its critically acclaimed 2015 London run and 2016 UK Tour, Green Day's explosive Tony Award ® winning musical, American Idiot will be returning to it's London home at the Arts Theatre, for a strictly limited run from 8 July - 25 September 2016, with press night today 13 July.

Refuge Theatre Project, the two-year-old company that produced the surprise hit musical of the 2015-16 season with its environmental staging of High Fidelity in a makeshift 'record store,' will present a one-night-only concert of songs by High Fidelity composer Tom Kitt. The evening, called I Got You, will showcase selections from Broadway musicals for which Kitt either composed the score or provided musical arrangements, along with new unpublished songs he's provided especially for the event. City Winery, 1200 W. Randolph Street is the event venue. Christopher Pazdernik, director of High Fidelity, will direct the concert, with music direction by Mike Evans.

Adapted from a concept album by successful recording artists Green Day, American Idiotfollows the lives of three young men searching for meaning in their lives as they keep running into troubles at every turn.

Telecom giant Globe and theater company 9 Works Theatrical co-produce the smash rock musical AMERICAN IDIOT by Green Day on a limited engagement from Friday, June 24, until Sunday, July 10, at the Globe Iconic Store at Bonifacio High Street Amphitheater in Taguig.

Rachel Zatcoff (coming directly from a run as Christine in Phantom of the Opera on Broadway) has joined the cast of THE GOLDEN BRIDE (Di Goldene Kale), which returns for a limited Off-Broadway engagement beginning July 4th. As originally presented by the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene [NYTF] in December of 2015, the production was nominated for 2 Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Revival of a Musical. Featuring a cast of 20 and an orchestra of 14, this rare glimpse back into musical theater history will run through August 28 at The Museum of Jewish Heritage's Edmond J. Safra Hall.

On June 24, musical theater revue show BROADWAY AT THE W triumphantly returns to The Loft stage at W Hollywood. The 2015 debut BROADWAY AT THE W show was a sold-out success with a line of ticket holders stretching down Hollywood Blvd.
