The BPA Gallery is a high-visibility, no-commission venue that showcases regional artists in monthly rotating exhibits in the C. Keith Birkenfeld Lobby. Exhibiting artists routinely participate in Bainbridge Island's First Fridays Art Walk and receive viewings by patrons of BPA events held throughout each month.

Both artists and patrons benefit from the no-commission arrangement. The BPA Gallery is a visually enticing space that provides artists with a lot of traffic, and when BPA's patrons consider buying a piece of art, they know that 100 percent of their money is going directly to the artist who created the work. This fosters a special and unique value-focused relationship between artists and art enthusiasts in the BPA community.

Stop by this August and September for "BPA: 60 Years of Storytelling." Drop in for the First Friday Art Walk October 7 to see "Views of Utopia" - acrylics and watercolors by Michael Pontieri and November 4 for "Around Trees" - photography by Paul Brians.

Gallery hours are 12:00 - 5:00 p.m. Tuesday - Friday plus one hour prior to each performance.

Artists interested in showing their work are encouraged to contact Dominique Cantwell at gallery@bainbridgeperformingarts.org and attach a minimum of two digital samples that are representative of their body of work. Prospective artists will be contacted in September and October about scheduling.

BPA is supported, in part, by the Bainbridge Community Foundation and One Call for All. Bainbridge Performing Arts is pleased to offer an "Open Doors" program. Free and reduced-cost tickets to most events are available to community members in need through our partner Helpline House thanks to grants from BCF, the Mabee Family Foundation, and the Alder Fund at the Bainbridge Community Foundation.
