Tell us a bit about Giants: For An Hour
Giants: For an Hour is a story of Will and Barney's lifelong friendship and their lifelong obsession with a Norwegian pop duo called Fjord. It's a sort of retrospective on how we grew up together and started performing so we play our mums and our friends and younger versions of ourselves. It's got lots of songs, sketches and good times.
Why bring it to Edinburgh?
There's nowhere like Edinburgh to perform a show you love and lose a huge amount of money whilst doing it.
What sets it apart from other shows at the Fringe?
There's a really nice mix of song, sketch, stand up and badly-made power point slides, which most people can't compete with.
Who would you recommend comes to see your show?
Casting directors for major Hollywood films. And 90s kids who want to indulge in nostalgic memories of Fjord and the Norwegian pop movement.
Are there any other performances you're hoping to catch at the festival?
Rob Carter playing Christopher Bliss is the funniest show you could possibly see. We do a monthly mixed bill night at the Cavendish Arms in Stockwell and he regularly comes to tell his stories. They're without doubt the most stupid things I've ever heard.
Giants: For An Hour runs from August 2-27, 16:30, Pleasance Attic
