Tell us a bit about 'Let's Never Hang Out'

It's roughly an hour of stand-up, no narrative or anything like that because I don't really back myself to have an epiphany every single year. I've toured around Australia (where I live) and the USA (where it's still easy for people who look like me to get in) developing the material and people have seemed to like it. Now I'll find out if the terrifying population of Edinburgh get around it, which they should because I talk a bit about voting and they're shit at that as well.

Why Bring It To Edinburgh?

I had my debut run last year and sold out every show, I like the vibe of the festival and - most importantly - I really like that Scottish people dress like stereotypes of Scottish people. Obviously I know that no Scottish people actually go to Fringe shows, but it's nice that they're around all proud of their knees and what not.

What sets it apart from the other show at Fringe?

That I'm the one talking, no other show offers that. Also, there'll be more making fun of people for wearing dumb hats/shirts/vests in my show per capita than any other show - so if you could make sure you bring a mate in a dumb piece of clothing that would be super helpful.

Who would you recommend comes to see you?

Nobody. I thought the title had that covered?

Are there any other shows you're hoping to catch?

Yeah 100%, from Australia I'd recommend getting around my Sydney peeps Rhys Nicholson & Becky Lucas. They're both super funny. From the UK, I hung out with Dane Baptiste & Sarah Callaghan so I'll be checking them out - and Loyiso Gola from RSA is great too. The biggest tick goes to BrenDan Burns & Craig Quartermaine in 'Race Off' which I saw in its infancy last year and it was still my absolute favourite. They've been tuning it up for 12 months so it'll be shit hot come August - ignore the pun title, it's so much better than that.
