James Corden, Helena Bonham Carter, Tim Burton and Simon Cowell were among the guests at last night's special 'Red Nose Day' gala performance of The Book of Mormon, now in previews at the West End's Prince of Wales Theatre. Check out photos from the event below!
Also in attendance were Comic Relief host Lenny Henry, who introduced the gala, along with Kate Moss and Lily Allen. The evening raised £200k for Comic Relief, now in its 25th year which will conclude with this Friday's Red Nose Day Appeal Night. The Book of Mormon, created by South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone, has been in previews at the Prince of Wales Theatre since February 25th and will open officially on Thursday, March 21. Gavin Creel and Jared Gertner star as Elder Price and Elder Cunningham. The actors lead the company in the Los Angeles production, which has broken all box office records at the Pantages Theatre. Other cast members include: Mark Anderson, Stephen Ashfield, Benjamin Brook, Daniel Buckley, Daniel Clift, Ashley Day, Terry Doe, Candace Furbert, Patrick George, Nadine Higgin, Tyrone Huntley, Evan James, Chris Jarman, Michael Kent, Alexia Khadime, Matt Krzan, Oliver Liddert, Daniel McKinley, Luke Newton, Terel Nugent, Haydn Oakley, Olivia Phillip, Lucy St. Louis, Giles Terera, Kayi Ushe, Tosh Wanogho-Maud and Liam Wrate.
