Lady Gaga let out a scream of pain in the middle of one of her epic BORN THIS WAY barn-burning techno anthems, "Scheibe", during a stop on this week's BORN THIS WAY BALL tour.
During the dance break for a breathless breakdown section of the song set to an onstage strobe effect, Gaga audibly lets out a cry during a leg kick move and subsequently quite noticeably curtails much of the choreography for the remaining duration of the song, particularly evident during the kick-line style ending and her overall lack of much leg movement.
Visibly fatigued, she breathlessly continues on and finishes the number despite her visible discomfort and even thanks her very vocal squadrons of fans in the audience - them shouting in ecstasy, not pain.
The video of the incident is available to view below.
Gaga has recently reveled she is suffering from a medical conditon - a labral tear of her right hip - requiring surgery compounding her pre-existing Lupus and has cancelled the remaining stops on the final leg of her BORN THIS WAY BALL world tour.
She spoke to Gaga Daily today about her current situation: "I'm on crutches and I'm occasionally in a wheelchair right now, because I f*cked my hip up after a show, but I'm okay, I promise." She also told the site's moderator, Emma, that her fans are her inspiration, as always. "You're making me brave!"
In an official statement, Lady Gaga's representatives told People Magazine today, "She will need surgery to repair the problem, followed by strict down time to recover. This unfortunately, will force her to cancel the tour, so she can heal."
