Amazon.com Goes Down, Internet Briefly Explodes - Were They HACKED?

Amazon.com went down at 2:40 pm EST for approximately half an hour, with their home page displaying a 'Service Unavailable' message.

According to Gizmodo, the hacker group 'Nazi Gods' tweeted "This is what happens Amazon when you support censorship http://amazon.com #TangoFuckingDown"

Thus far, Amazon has not yet commented on the incident which lasted 30 minutes. Only the homepage appears to have been affected.
