What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?
The first Broadway show I ever saw was Guys and Dolls. I came to New York with my show choir for spring break and saw it and was hooked!!
What is your most unique pre-show ritual?
As my wig is placed on my head, every night, I go over my entire first scene and song out loud. I get made fun of for it and when I don't start right at that point, Fred (head of wigs for Newsies) says" Aren't you forgetting something?!" lol but it must be done or I feel like something will go wrong. Weird, I know.
What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?
I had taken a nap before the show, got alittle vocally dry, and didn't properly warm up before going on. As I entered the stage, a fur ball formed in my throat and I had to start and carry on the scene while clearing my throat. But because," the show must go on" I finished the scene and whenever it try to creep up during my song, I growled the note out! People thought I was being extra sassy but honey, I was just trying to fight the fur ball and get through it!
What is the one role you want to play before you die?
Where can people stalk you online?
