Friday, January 4, 2013, at 8 PM LOS ANGELES PHILHARMONIC Tan Dun The Tears of Nature (percussion concerto) (U.S. premiere, LA Phil co-commission) Sunday, January 6, 2013, at 7:30 PM ORGAN RECITAL SERIES NATHAN LAUBE, organ WIDOR Allegro Vivace, from Organ Symphony No. 5 Chicago native and Fulbright recipient, Nathan Laube is a rising star in the organ world. He has garnered acclaim for performances throughout Europe and North America, receiving top honors at some of the most prestigious organ competitions. He performs Liszt's famous Les Preludes, as well as works by Bach, Widor, Duruflé and Mendelssohn.
