Doreen Montalvo and Cast of GIANT Set for Cabaret Cares Tonight

The Off Broadway Musical Giant will perform in Cabaret Cares tonight, December 3rd at 7:00 PM. Cabaret Cares is the the monthly fundraising event for Help Is On The Way Today. Help Is On The Way Today was founded by Cabaret Producer Joseph Macchia and is a non for profit that helps children and teens living with HIV and AIDS In New York City living with HIV and AIDS. Since its start 7 years ago Cabaret Cares had raised over $74,000. The series was also honored with Three MAC Awards and a Bistro Award. Dec 3rd 2011 Help Is On The Way Today Spirit Award Winner Doreen Montalvo, who has been seen on Broadway in In The Heights and is currently performing in the Off Broadway musical Giant, will host a special evening of cabaret for the series. All monies raised will go directly to Help Is On The Way Today who will also donate a portion to the victims on Sandy. The evening will take place at The Laurie Beechman Theatre at 7:00 PM, doors open at 6:15 PM. There is a $20 Cover Charge and $15 Food Drink Minimum. To make reservations, call 212-695-6909.
