The Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) presents Irving Berlin's WHITE CHRISTMAS in The Buell Theatre November 23 – December 24, 2012. Tickets may be purchased by calling 303.893.4100 or visiting www.denvercenter.org. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the production below.
Playing the role of Bob and Phil are DCTC debuting actors Tom Galantich and Nicolas Dromard, respectively. Returning to assume the roles of the singing sisters Betty and Judy are Amy Bodnar and Kate Marilley, respectively. Producing Artistic Director Kent Thompson (The Taming of the Shrew, The Liar, A Midsummer's Night Dream, Othello) directs this holiday favorite with choreography by Patti Colombo (Irving Berlin's White Christmas) and musical direction by Gregg Coffin (A Funny Thing…Forum, A Christmas Carol). Anna Louizos creates a set full of warmth, festive cheer and snow (!) that will make feel like you're home for the holidays. Costume design is by David Kay Mickelsen (When We Are Married, Fences, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer), based on original designs by Carrie Robbins. You can't tis the season without lighting which is designed for this production by Tom Sturge (The Taming of the Shrew, Irving Berlin's White Christmas) and sound designed by Craig Breitenbach (The Three Musketeers, Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash, A Christmas Carol).
