Rita Jahanforuz Releases MY JOYS, Kicks Off North American Tour, Nov 2012

Jewish/Israeli pop superstar Rita Jahanforuz, better known as just "Rita," will release her politically-driven yet pleasing-to-the-ears release, My Joys, November 2012.

Digging into her memory and experience, choosing songs she has hummed and treasured since childhood, Rita shows how Persian songs, reframed to reflect a lifetime of pop inventiveness and rock energy, can softly but firmly shift the conversation, in Iran and in Israel.

This November, the singer also heads out on a North American tour with stops in Los Angeles, Palo Alto, New York City, Miami, Mexico City, and DC. Full details below!
