The T.J. Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research announced today that legendary recording artists and songwriters Crosby & Nash will take the stage at the 37th Annual Honors Gala on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at the legendary Cipriani on 42nd St in New York.
David Crosby and Graham Nash, best known as the harmony vocalists for folk rock supergroup Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY) are noted for their intricate harmonies and lasting influence on American music and culture. Both Crosby and Nash have been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame & Museum twice as part of CSNY and have made an indelible mark on American music history.
Over $1.1 million has been raised to date for the T.J. Martell Foundation Honors Gala and is supported by generous partners American Airlines, the official airline of T.J. Martell Foundation, Greenberg Traurig LLP, BMI, Universal Music Group and Tom Corson, President of SONY Music.
Crosby & Nash join a long list of celebrity performers, presenters and honorees scheduled for this year's highly anticipated Honors Gala including Little Big Town, Grace Potter, Regis Philbin, Susan Lucci, Wendy Dio, Motown's Barry Gordy, Joel Katz, Dr. Margaret Cuomo, Sandra Lee, Tony Martell and honorees Russell Simmons, Del Bryant, Edward Walson and Randy Jackson.
The T.J. Martell Foundation's gala has long been a who's who amongst celebrities and musical performers. The special evening includes a star-studded red carpet, musical performances by some of today's greatest performers and attendance by celebrity friends and families.
