Following the wildly successful concert version at The Geary Theater in spring 2015, American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) presents a brand-new, fully staged production of Jason Robert Brown's acclaimed musical, THE LAST FIVE YEARS, running May 11-June 5, 2016. Under the direction of Michael Berresse - with Musical Direction by Matt Castle – THE LAST FIVE YEARS stars Margo Seibert (Rocky on Broadway, Tamar of the River at Prospect Theater Company) as Cathy and Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia on Broadway, Once Upon a Mattress at Transport Group) as Jamie -- with just a few days until the first curtain, A.C.T. has unveiled a pair of sneak peek performances!

Fans have to wait another two months to see WAITRESS on stage, but an MLK Day treat has just arrived from some Broadway veterans. Below, watch as Zak Resnick (Once Upon a Mattress) and Jessica Vosk (Fiddler on the Roof) team up with dancers Melanie Moore and Brandt Martinez to perform 'You Matter to Me,' with help from Ben Rauhala and Mairi Dorman-Phaneuf!

ONCE UPON A MATTRESS' 'Prince Dauntless,' Jason Williams, is a new papa! His daughter Mara Eleanor Williams was born on December 28, and fellow cast member Jackie Hoffman welcomed her into the kingdom in style. Check out the video below!

Transport Group will soon present Once Upon a Mattress, starring Jackie Hoffman (On the Town, Difficult People, Hairspray) as Princess Winnifred and John 'Lypsinka'Epperson (Lypsinka's The Boxed Set, The Passion of the Crawford) as Queen Aggravain. Last month, twenty of the brightest talents on Broadway were featured in Broadway Sings Bruno Mars, the latest concert in the Broadway Sings series. The tribute series takes the music of well-known music icons and creates new, unique arrangements and orchestrations by twisting the style to fit the strength of the performer. Previous concerts have included Adele, Stevie Wonder, and Justin Timberlake; this November, producer Corey Mach (Godspell, Wicked) and music director Joshua Stephen Kartes will present Broadway Sings Sara Bareilles.?

Here is Zak Resnick singing 'Reason to Fall' by Zoe Sarnak from her musical The Years Between: a poignant window into lives, loves, and dreams of the new 'lost generation' set to a rock, folk, pop and soul score. The piece centers on Piper, a 27 year-old modern Peter Pan living in a modern American city, and the group of millennials in her life. They struggle financially, change jobs, and move through long term but non-committal relationships in a snapshot of the 'boomerang' (NY Times) generation and their idealized, if sometimes misguided, search for purpose. One of those friends is Damon, parentless and fiercely loyal to his friends and relationships. Damon has his heart broken by BA, the woman he thought he'd marry. He revisits their old apartment together and standing in a ghost-town of their memories he sings.

Last night, April 5th, ten of Broadway's most distinctive vocalists celebrated four-time Grammy award winner Sam Smith at 54 Below in a concert of his signature songs of heartbreak, loss, and hope in Broadway Loves Sam Smith. The starry cast included Tony Award nominee Jeremy Jordan ('The Last 5 Years,' Newsies), Ben Platt ('Pitch Perfect,' The Book of Mormon), Carrie Manolakos (Wicked, Mamma Mia!), Ben Fankhauser (Newsies), Zak Resnick (Mamma Mia!, Piece of My Heart: The Bert Berns Story), Meghann Fahy ('One Life To Live,' Next to Normal), Adrienne Warren ('Orange Is The New Black,' Bring It On), Janet Krupin (If/Then, Bring It On), Isabelle (American Idol), Jason Gotay (NBC's 'Peter Pan Live,' Bring It On), and Natalie Weiss (Everyday Rapture, Les Miserables). The Skivvies (the undie-rock comedy-pop duo of Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley) just kicked off their monthly residency at 42West with Splashdance- featuring an all-star line up of guest artists from the worlds of Broadway, Television and Film.
