All new footage has been released from Disney’s Winnie the Pooh’s UK & Ireland Tour. Winnie the Pooh opened at Riverside Studios in London on 26 March, later beginning the UK & Ireland tour in Southampton on 31 May. Check out the video here!

On December 20, Disney's new biographical film about the making of Mary Poppins, SAVING MR. BANKS, will hit theatres. Starring Emma Thompson, Tom Hanks, Colin Farrell, Paul Giamatti, Jason Schwartzman, Bradley Whitford, Annie Rose Buckley, Ruth Wilson, B.J. Novak, Rachel Griffiths and Kathy Baker, it opens in limited theaters on December 13. In the video below, Richard Sherman, one half of the songwriting team that scored the 1964 film, chats with CBS about creating the songs and bringing them back to life now.

The Sherman Brothers, Richard and Robert, the musical geniuses behind "Mary Poppins," "Chitty, Chitty, Bang, Bang" and "Winnie the Pooh" may have another theatrical success on the way. Prior to Robert's death in March of this year, the brothers composed the words and music for "MerryGoRound," a new Broadway musical which, originally scheduled for Spring 2011, is now anticipating its New York debut later this year, 2013, with producer Jack Stein and director Andrew Belling. The new Disney animated feature WINNIE THE POOH was released in theaters nationwide in July 2011. John Cleese and Craig Ferguson are among the stars lending their voices to the film, which includes a new version of The Sherman Brothers classic, 'Winnie the Pooh', sung by actress Zooey Deschanel. Tony Award winner Lopez and his collaborator/wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez have composed several songs for an all new film. Anderson-Lopez also voices the character of ‘Kanga' in the film. The Awards Gala, which took place at the New York Players Club, was directed by Tony Walton. Aaron Gandy served as Musical Director.
