Scott Bakula appeared as a guest on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night, February 21! During his appearance, Bakula told James about an onstage mishap that he had to deal with early in his career during a production of The Pirates of Penzance. Bakula told the tale of how he nearly killed an audience member after a prop sword malfunctioned.

DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES ends its successful eight-season run on the ABC Television Network with a splashy two-hour finale event on SUNDAY, MAY 13 (9:00-11:00 p.m., ET).

On the April 29th episode of the ABC drama DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES entitled 'Lost My Power', with Mike gone, Susan attempts to build a car for MJ's father-and-son school soapbox derby; Bree's attorney, Trip (Scott Bakula), learns of her previous drunken sexual spree and needs her to come clean about it in order to help strengthen her case.

The production played 3 nights - July 31, August 1 and August 2 to cheering crowds, but the crazy part is - the final dress is done at 10am, in broad daylight and is open to the public, as the venue is a county-owned facility. People showed up in droves, for the run-through and cheered on the actors, the Hollywood Bowl orchestra and conductor Kevin Stites, who you will see is wearing a black, casual shirt for the rehearsal. The show's director, Richard Jay-Alexander, made a brief speech before the run, welcoming everybody, and in this exclusive footage, I was also able to catch him, in his dressing room, before the Opening Night performance.
