BC/EFA Announces Broadway Bares: Solo Strips - April 3

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and Jerry Mitchell have announced the return of BROADWAY BARES: SOLO STRIPS, a benefit striptease event featuring some of the hottest men on and off Broadway. BROADWAY BARES: SOLO STRIPS will be held Sunday, April 3 at Splash (50 West 17th Street). There will be performances at 8 PM and 10 PM. Tickets are available in advance or a $10 donation will be accepted at the door.

STAGE TUBE: Lauren Molina's Newest Music Video 'Try to Say'

Lauren Molina has released her newest music video to the song 'Try to Say' off of her latest album 'Seat for Two.' According to Molina, the video concept was born out of the idea of an actor's nightmare, morphing int on 'Alice in Wonderland' like chacse through a mirror to find a run away heart. Molina teamed up with animator Noella Borie and the video was created using traditional paper cut animation.

The 22nd Annual GYPSY OF THE YEAR Competition raised $3,776,720 for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS, thanks to the tireless work of 63 participating Broadway, Off-Broadway and national touring companies, it was announced Tuesday. Since 1989, the 22 editions of GYPSY OF THE YEAR have raised a total of $44,137,415 to benefit BC/EFA. Bells Are Ringing will open the Encores! 2010-11 season on November 18, 2010. With music by Jule Styne and book and lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green, the production will run through 21, 2010 at New York City Center. Bells Are Ringing is directed and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall, features music direction by Rob Berman and stars Kelli O'Hara and Will Chase.
