Platt described it as a 'super morally ambiguous show in a really beautiful way about the good things that can come from lies' and shared how he is able to cry and sing at the same time for every performance. Dear Ben Platt,  Today is going to be a good day, and here's why. Today, you're a Tony nominee! Self-professed theatre geek Ben Platt is living the dream as a first time Tony nominee for is performance as the title character in Dear Evan Hansen. Earlier this week Dear Evan Hansen earned a whopping nine Tony nominations, including a nod for Best Musical. Now the show is thanking its many fans with a special compilation of the musical's anthem, 'Waving Through a Window.'

According to Rachel Bay Jones, being nominated for a Tony isn't as nerve wracking as she thought, but just, 'a big party, where I get to see the people that I love.' Rachel is one of the many people nominated from DEAR EVAN HANSEN, where her performance earned her a Tony nomination for Featured Actress in a Musical. Ben Platt stopped by this morning's TODAY and told Kathie Lee and Hoda that the musical about an anxious teen has themes that everyone can relate to.

Starring two-time Tony Award winners Patti LuPone and Christine Ebersole, War Paint tells the remarkable story of cosmetics titans Helena Rubinstein (LuPone) and Elizabeth Arden (Ebersole), who defined beauty standards for the first half of the 20th Century. Brilliant innovators with humble roots, both women were masters of self-invention who sacrificed everything to become the country's first major female entrepreneurs. They were also fierce competitors, whose 50-year tug-of-war would give birth to an industry that would forever change the face of America. From Fifth Avenue society to the halls of Congress, their intense rivalry was ruthless, relentless and legendary-pushing both women to build international empires in a world dominated by men.

RANGE a cappella has shared their newest music video, an a cappella cover of 'You Will Be Found' from the new hit Broadway musical, DEAR EVAN HANSEN. The song is off their album 'Range Vol. 1, available now.
