Planet Hollywood Times Square has installed a dazzling new digital marquee heralding its first tenant at The Screening Room Theater, Off-Broadway's hit comedy HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER. Video footage of the spectacular display debuted today on YouTube. The video reveals the (somewhat desperate) Tony hopes that the hit Off-Broadway show has been harboring since it opened on October 17, 2012 to rave reviews at Sofia's Downstairs Theater in the heart of Times Square.

For the past week, the cast of GLEE has being filming Nationals in New York City. During the week, they got to dance on the TKTS booth and film with Patti LuPone at Sardi's. Most recently, they met with New York City major Michael Bloomberg outside of the entrance to the Gershwin Theatre.

Mayor Michael Bloomberg joined the ranks of the many comedians who have spoofed SPIDER-MAN in recent months. Bloomberg's spoofed the troubled SPIDER-MAN musical at Saturday night's Inner Circle charity dinner, where the city's political reporters roast public officials. The major swooped over the stage attached to a harness and then, got stuck.

A Broadway Green Alliance E-Waste event, hosted byKerry Butler and Valerie Smaldone, will be held on Wednesday, December 16, in Duffy Square at noon. The Broadway Green Alliance, with the support of WeRecycle!, encourages the New York City theatre community to come deposit their Electronic Waste (broken cell phones, computers, printers, and dry batteries) in the center of Times Square for safe disposal and recycling.
