Dare to Go Beyond (D2GB) Children's Performing Arts Camp, an initiative of R.Evolucion Latina, successfully ended its run on Friday August 2nd. More than 200 kids, ages 7-17, gathered at the headquarters of Pearl Studio to share their experiences, learn to dance, sing and narrate their stories in creative ways and with a fascinating focus: Cultural Exchange. During the five-day camp participants took classes with some of the most experienced actors, dancers, and choreographers working on Broadway today. Check out a look back below!

Celebrating the life of Mexican-American superstar Selena Quintanilla-Perez, BROADWAY SINGS SELENA will welcome a starry cast of Broadway's best performers; presented at Off-Broadway's The Underground Theatre on April 1st. The show will be directed by Jay Levy. In anticipation of the show, the stars share their Selena experiences and talk about the upcoming tribute, set for the 18th anniversary of the late Tex-Mex singer's death. Watch below!

Joining composer-lyricist and original star Lin-Manuel Miranda on stage will be original Broadway cast members Christopher Jackson, Karen Olivo, Olga Merediz, Robin De Jesus, Mandy Gonzalez, Andrea Burns, Seth Stewart, Janet Dacal, and Eliseo Roman. R.Evolución Latina's D2GB (Dare to Go Beyond) Children's Performing Arts Camp concludes tomorrow with a very special celebration at El Museo del Barrio. R.Evolución Latina, who has been featured on NBC's Nightly News with Brian Williams in a segment called 'Making a Difference', is a collective of artists and activists committed to empowering the artistic community in order to inspire growth within the Latino Community through collaboration, productions, and educational support programs. An added focus to this year's camp is health awareness and the importance of physical activity as we address the growing concern of obesity in our Latino children. 'Through the arts, we will empower the youth to recognize the importance of leading and maintaining a healthy life' says Camp Coordinator Ali Solomon. This free camp will provide more than 150 underserved children ages 7-17 the chance to experience the arts through classes taught by NYC and international artists from the theatre, music, dance, and Latino communities. 'This camp is very inspiring and also fun... It's like a mission that we have to accomplish during this week, I'm just loving everything about it.' said Rosa Fermin one of the students.

For the first time, IN THE HEIGHTS' dancer and choreographer Luis Salgado will give two Master Classes in MADRID DANCE CENTER next May 13th and 14th.

R.Evolución Latina is sponsoring Dance Company D1 of Peru, a group of 19 dancers taken under the wing of Vania Massias, who turned down a role in Cirque du Soleil to start a dance program for 'under-served children tumbling in the streets'. Lincoln Center has released the first radio spot for WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN! The organization also announced today that in order to give the creative team additional technical stage time, it has rescheduled the first performance of the new musical WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. Previews, originally scheduled to begin on Saturday evening, October 2, will now begin on Tuesday evening, October 5 at 8pm at the Belasco Theatre (111 West 44 Street). Opening night for the musical will remain, as originally announced, Thursday, November 4 at 6:45pm.
