The North American tour of Disney’s Aladdin launches on Tuesday, October 11 at 7:30pm at Proctors Theatre in Schenectady, NY, where the hit Broadway musical comedy will play for two weeks through Sunday, October 23, 2022. Check out rehearsal photos and videos here!

The Old Globe presents the U.S. premiere of Life After, a rapturously beautiful and stirring new musical withbook, music, and lyrics by Britta Johnson, directed by the Globe's own Barry Edelstein, opening Friday, March 29 at 8:00 p.m. Withchoreography by Ann Yee and music supervision, arrangements, and orchestrations by Lynne Shankel, Life After will run March 22 - April 28, 2019 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. Preview performances run March 22-28. Life After is produced by special arrangement with Yonge Street Theatricals, Linda Barnett, and Natalie Bartello. Single tickets start at $32.00 and are now on sale. To celebrate the 5th anniversary of Aladdin on Broadway, 5 current and former Genies stopped the show following today's matinee with a medley of Aladdin hits at the New Amsterdam Theatre. The 5 Genies were Tony Award winner James Monroe Iglehart, current star Michael James Scott, tour Genie Major Attaway, and current Broadway Genie standbys Juwan Crawley and Deonte L. Warren.

Broadway star Andy Mientus, who will play Tommy in the DCPA Theatre Company's upcoming stage production of 'The Who's Tommy,' based on the seminal concept album, performed songs from the musical on March 26, 2018, at the Alamo Drafthouse Denver, with proceeds benefiting The Denver Actors Fund. Mientus sang 'Sensation.' Guitar by Dave Devine. The live entertainment preceded a screening of Ken Russell's cult-classic film adaptation on the 43rd anniversary of its London release.
