Broadway Cares/ Equity Fights AIDS, and Broadway Impact present Broadway's 'It Gets Better' video featuring 63 members of the New York theatrical community speaking to LGBTQ youth.

In light of the recent attention on suicide amongst gay youth driven by bullies, the Broadway community has been teaming up with the Trevor Project for the 'It Gets Better' campaign, encouraging gay or questioning youth to hold their heads high and seek help. The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director) and 1113 Productions (Steven Ullman, Executive Producer) opened the World Premiere of Falling for Eve, a new musical with book by Tony Award-winner Joe DiPietro (Memphis), music by Bret Simmons ('The Megan Mullally Show') and lyrics by David Howard (Galaxy Quest) on July 15. Wonderland, the new musical adventure by Frank Wildhorn (The Civil War and Jekyll & Hyde), with lyrics by Jack Murphy and a book by Phoebe Hwang, is currently playing at Houston's Ally Theatre through February 14.
