Horton Foote's The Old Friends, directed by Michael Wilson runs now through October 6, 2013, with a September 12 opening night in The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 West 42nd Street between 9th and 10th Avenues). Bucks County Playhouse (BCP) presents the world premiere of Mothers and Sons, a new play by four-time Tony Award-winning playwright Terrence McNally. Last seen at Bucks County in Love Letters opposite James Earl Jones, Emmy and Tony Award-winner Tyne Daly is set to star in the production joined by Tony Award-nominees Manoel Felciano and Bobby Steggert, with direction by Tony Award-nominee Sheryl Kaller. The Broadway revival of Horton Foote's beloved classic, The Trip to Bountiful, opened last night, April 23, at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 W 43rd St).Directed by Michael Wilson, the cast features Academy Award nominee and Emmy Award-winning actress Cicely Tyson, Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding, Jr, Emmy Award nominee and recording star Vanessa Williams, and Tony Award nominee Condola Rashad. Signature Theatre today announced a second extension for EDWARD ALBEE'S THE LADY FROM DUBUQUE, directed by David Esbjornson. Extended last week through April 1, the production will now play two additional weeks, through Sunday, April 15. EDWARD ALBEE's THE LADY FROM DUBUQUE is the inaugural production in The End Stage Theatre at the company's new home The Pershing Square Signature Center. The production opened on Monday, March 5.
