Porchlight Music Theatre presents Sunset Boulevard at The Ruth Page Center for the Arts. Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, lyrics and books by Don Black and Christopher Hampton, Sunset Boulevard stars Hollis Resnik and is directed by Michael Weber, choreographed by Shanna VanDerwerker and music directed by Aaron Benham.

Chicago Shakespeare Theater announces the cast for the North American premiere of Jessica Swale's exuberant new comedy Nell Gwynn, September 20-November 4, 2018. The music- and dance-filled play took London audiences by storm when it debuted at Shakespeare's Globe, followed by a celebrated run on the West End. Director of the original London production, Christopher Luscombe, helms the new Chicago Shakespeare production. Star of Broadway and the West End Scarlett Strallen appears as Nell; Chicago leading actor Timothy Edward Kane performs the role of King Charles II.

Set to the chart-topping hits of the King of Rock 'n' Roll, himself, Elvis Presley, and based on Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, All Shook Up follows the story of Natalie, a tomboy mechanic with a longing heart, and Chad, a mysterious, hip-swiveling roustabout who is new to town and ready to shake things up. Set in the 1950s, and filled with secret crushes, hysterical shenanigans and matters of the heart, this is one Muny production that promises to have the entire family dancing in their 'Blue Suede Shoes.'

Chicagoland audiences will rejoice with The Marriott Theatre's first mainstage production of their 2016 Subscription Season, the heavenly Broadway musical comedy, SISTER ACT, currently in previews and opening February 17 for a run through April 3 at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire. The St. Louis Muny's cast of THE ADDAMS FAMILY, which ran from July 14th through 20th, created a video remix of Beyonce's 'Pretty Hurts.' The remix is very much in the style of the show itself, as each of the actors is clad in creepy, kooky, monster-like costumes.

The Muny presents the fourth show of its 96th season, The Addams Family, directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge, choreographed by Vince Pesce, with musical direction by Ben Whiteley. BWW TV Los Angeles Correspondents Michael Sterling and Jerry Evans were back on the red carpet speaking to the stars last week for the official L.A. opening of SISTER ACT at Hollywood's historic Pantages Theatre. Among the many celebrities in attendance, Sterling chatted with Robert Townsend, Shoshana Bean, Ruta Lee, Jo Anne Worley, Jaden Betts, Kate Linder, Dmitry Chaplin (So You Think You Can Dance), Jonathan Buckley (Host of the new NBC reality series Siberia), and SISTER ACT'S Ta'Rea Campbell (Book of Mormon, Lion King) who stars as Deloris Van Cartier.
