In advance of the Broadway transfer of Ghost The Musical, Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy handed over the leading roles of Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen as they are headed for Broadway. Mark Evans (Welsh TV star and last on stage in the West End as Fiyero in Wicked) and Siobhan Dillon (finalist in Andrew Lloyd Webber's first reality TV show How Do You Solve a Problem Like Maria? and most recently on stage in the West End in Legally Blonde The Musical) will take on the West End roles on Friday January 13th. In the video below, the Broadway-bound duo says goodbye to the West End production as they travel to the Great White Way!

As previously announced, Ghost The Musical on Broadway will star its UK leads Richard Fleeshman and Caissie Levy as Sam and Molly, when it premieres this Spring at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre. They will be joined by Bryce Pinkham as Carl Bruner and newcomer Da'Vine Joy Randolph as Oda Mae Brown. Preview performances will begin on Thursday, March 15, 2012. Accompanied by Sharon D Clarke as Oda Mae Brown and Andrew Langtree as Carl, Ghost The Musical has new music and lyrics by Grammy® award winning Dave Stewart and Glen Ballard as well as featuring the iconic song Unchained Melody. Oscar® winning Bruce Joel Rubin has adapted his original screen play for the stage. Set and costume designs are by Rob Howell, choreography is by Ashley Wallen with musical supervision and arrangements by Christopher Nightingale, illusions by Paul Kieve, lighting by Hugh Vanstone and projection design by Jon Driscoll. On February 5th, Tony Award winner Idina Menzel made her debut with the New York Philharmonic. During the performance, the stage and screen star performed Lady Gaga's 'Pokerface.'

Idina Menzel, whose Broadway credits include originating the role of Maureen in Rent and Elphaba in Wicked, released her latest solo album in 2008 and has been promoting it in concerts across the country since. On October 13, Broadway and GLEE star Idina Menzel, hosted a 'Twitter meeting' to promote her concert tour at Joe's Pub. During the meeting, she revealed that she heads into the studio next week to begin work on a new album that will feature mostly original music, but also some standards to be recorded with a full orchestra. No specific song titles or release plans were revealed. BroadwayWorld was on hand for the conversation and brings you footage below.
