Just yesterday, The Music Man kicked off its opening week with a special event including an (un)official Mayoral Proclamation by Mayor George Shinn (Jefferson Mays) and a performance by The Barbershop Quartet (Phillip Boykin, Eddie Korbich, Daniel Torres, Nicholas Ward), all to celebrate the production's 21 Broadway debuts. The Directors Company (Michael Parva, Artistic Director; Leah Michalos, Producing Director), by special arrangement with Ted Snowdon, present the My Parsifal Conductor, a new play by Allan Leicht, directed by Robert Kalfin. Opening Night is October 11. This is a limited engagement through November 3 at the Marjorie S. Deane Theater at the West Side YMCA (5 W. 63rd St).
