On Thursday we found out that '80s night didn't turn out to be so awesome for DeAndre Brackensick, as the judges once again chose to not use their one save of the season on a contestant in jeopardy.

Erika Van Pelt was eliminated last night on AMERICAN IDOL after she received the fewest votes among the finalists. After her final performance, the three judges declined the opportunity to use their 'save' to keep Van Pelt on the show.

On last night's episode of AMERICAN IDOL, viewer's votes and the Idol judges chose the Top 13 contestants who will remain in the competition.

In the first live performance of AMERICAN IDOL's Season 11, the top semi-finalist guys performed live for America's vote. Reed Grimm, Adam Brock, Deandre Brackensick, Colton Dixon, Jeremy Rosado, Aaron Marcellus, Chase Likens, Creighton Fraker, Phillip Phillips, Eben Franckewitz, Heejun Han, and Joshua Ledet took the stage on Tuesday, and the judges agreed that America has some tough decisions to make.

As last night's AMERICAN IDOL concluded last night, host Ryan Seacrest introduced America to the Top 24 finalists. As the credits began to roll, judge Steven Tyler decided he wanted to take a dip, and went on to strip down and dive into the pool!

The AMERICAN IDOL auditions came to a spectacular conclusion last night as the judges' remaining picks for the semi-finalists were revealed. Jennifer, Randy and Steven have chosen their top contestants and will turn the power over to America when the LIVE shows and voting begin next week.
