One of the biggest events of the theatre season went down last night, as MCC presented their annual gala, Miscast. At the event, a slew of Broadway's hottest stars get to perform songs from roles in which they would never be cast, and in this edition, Laura Benanti and Christopher Fitzgerald gave THE SOUND OF MUSIC their own, irreverent twist that you just have to see to believe. Miscast 2015 honored two bold and fearless women: Emmy® & Golden Globe® nominated stage and screen actress Sarah Paulson and Tony® Award-winning producer Fran Weissler. Broadway In Chicago will soon welcome Tony Award® nominee Annaleigh Ashford (Kinky Boots, Chicago production of WICKED, You Can't Take It With You and Masters of Sex) as she makes her solo Chicago premiere with an evening of song, story and sequin in her critically-acclaimed, Lost in the Stars, for one-night only on Saturday, March 21 at 8 PM at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E.
