Paradise Square officially resumed performances last night, April 19, after briefly going dark due to COVID cases within the cast. Joaquina Kalukango gave a speech after last night's performance, where she talked about being grateful to be back on stage.

Paradise Square is currently in previews at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, where it is getting ready to open on Sunday, April 3. A.J. Shively, who plays Irish immigrant Owen Duignan in the new musical, just checked in with BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge ahead of the big night.

Paradise Square began its pre-Broadway engagement on November 2, at Chicago's James M. Nederlander Theatre (24 West Randolph Street). The production will conclude it's run later this week on December 5th. Check out all new video of in action!

Today we rewind to 2016, when Bright Star arrived on Broadway. The musical opened on March 24 at the Cort Theatre, where it ran for 109 performances.

Today we rewind back to 2010, when the second revival of La Cage Aux Folles celebrated its eleven Tony nominations. La Cage Aux Folles played for 433 performances at the Longacre Theatre.

The sun is gonna shine today because its the birthday of the legendary actor and comedian Steve Martin! In honor of the occasion, we're looking back at his Tony-nominated musical Bright Star that he wrote the score for with Edie Brickell. Award-winning non-for-profit Broadway Sings for Pride (www.BroadwaySingsForPride.com) held their 6th annual PRIDE benefit concert on Monday, June 20, 2016. To start the night, Daniel Quadrino, from Broadway's Wicked and Newsies, sang 'Imagine' to reflect on the tragedy that happened in Orlando. He was joined onstage by members of the New York community, to echo the sentiment that New York stands behind Orlando and that art can be used to inspire and change minds.
