Valentina’s first word was “Broadway.” She has been a theater kid even before she could make sentences! She loved show tunes and hummed, then sang them before she ever had any interest in a nursery rhyme. She is young, but her old soul is indicative of the love she has had for theater practically her whole life.
Inspired by her family’s love for the stage, she began formal dance training at the age of two, then formal voice training at age five. She can attach herself to any genre of music, but her love and passion is for theater. She went head on into the theater world, performing in summer stock as soon as she could dance, starting with her first on-stage stint as a Silly Girl in Beauty and the Beast at age six. The voices of Andrea McArdle, Patti LuPone, and her personal dream mentor, Sutton Foster have been her catalyst.
Valentina is the third of eight children, and is proud of her Italian heritage. She is well traveled both internationally and domestically, and enjoys sampling food from different countries and cooking. Her grandfather, the late Mario Perillo of Perillo Tours would be very, very proud.
When she isn’t working on performances or training, Valentina, Vale (Vah-lay) for short enjoys school and learning just about anything. She has achieved “highest honors” status at her school for achieving all A+ on her report cards. She can balance a myriad of classes and schoolwork with ease and enthusiasm. Her heart is in any project she dives into, no matter what category.
Vale’s dream is to be on Broadway in any capacity. She works hard weekly with multiple voice and dance lessons in addition to her schoolwork.
