Deadline reports that Yvette Nicole Brown will host an upcoming unscripted children's game show on Disney+.

Shiri Appleby has been cast as 'Holly,” the good-humored and down-to-earth assistant basketball coach, and Yvette Nicole Brown has been cast as 'Sherilyn,' the no nonsense dean of Westbrook School for Girls, in the Disney+ original series “Big Shot” written and executive produced by David E. Kelley and Dean Lorey and produced by ABC Studios, a label of Disney Television Studios.

Production has begun on Disney Junior's 'The Chicken Squad,' a new animated series for preschoolers and their families slated to debut in 2020. Inspired by Doreen Cronin's popular book series, 'The Chicken Squad' follows Coop, Little Boo and Sweetie-a trio of young chicken siblings-and Captain Tully, a seasoned watchdog, who use teamwork and critical thinking skills to solve problems in THE NEIGHBORHOOD and keep the peace in their backyard. The announcement was made today by Joe D'Ambrosia, senior vice president, Original Programming and General Manager, Disney Junior.

In Disney+'s “Lady and the Tramp,” a timeless re-telling of the 1955 animated classic, a pampered house dog and a tough but lovable stray embark on an unexpected adventure and, despite their differences, grow closer and come to understand the value of home. Life is good for Lady, an overachieving American Cocker Spaniel who resides in an upscale suburban neighborhood. Her owners, Jim Dear and Darling, spoil her daily and her neighbors, Jock, an outspoken Scottish Terrier and Trusty, a world-weary Bloodhound, are always within barking distance. But when a baby enters the picture, Lady is no longer the center of attention, and the arrival of cat-loving Aunt Sarah only complicates matters. Lady soon finds herself alone on the streets in an unwelcoming part of town. Fortunately, Tramp steps in, and the streetwise mongrel is quick to teach her the ways of the world. Before long, the prim and proper pure bred and the fast-talking mutt are partaking in moonlight strolls in the park and romantic spaghetti dinners by candlelight. Tramp savors the independence of a world without leashes or fences alongside his roguish friends Peg and Bull, but Lady misses the comfort and safety of a family, and soon both must decide where – and with whom – they belong.

This afternoon, Disney+ made its D23 Expo debut with its first-ever showcase presentation, announcing six new series in development and revealing key details about the highly anticipated streaming service to an enthusiastic audience at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim. The event showcased the sweeping array of talent with in-person and video appearances from the stars of Disney+'s slate of originals from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, and National Geographic and included sneak peeks, trailer premieres, and exclusive news about the service and its upcoming projects. Actress Yvette Nicole Brown, who stars in the Disney+ original film “Lady and the Tramp,” hosted the lively presentation, welcoming Kevin Mayer, chairman, Direct-to-Consumer & International, to the stage to kick off the show.

For the first time ever, three of Disney's signature streaming services, Disney+, ESPN+, and Hulu, will showcase their variety of original and exclusive content through immersive show floor pavilions, live demos, never-before-seen content, and special experiences at D23 Expo 2019 in Anaheim, California. Guests will be the first to experience Disney+ before it launches in the U.S. on November 12. They will also get to step into the world of ESPN+ Original shows with an interactive exhibit, and discover costumes and show props from Hulu's award-winning original content and on-demand streaming library.

Fans in Hall H were treated to the first look at the highly anticipated new series The Witcher  at San Diego Comic Con 2019 on Friday, July 19 when star Henry Cavill previewed the teaser trailer for the room. THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT will feature former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie and actress Yvette Nicole Brown on its live broadcast from the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City following President Donald Trump's State of the Union address Tuesday, Jan. 29 (11:35 PM, live ET/delayed PT) on the CBS Television Network. Colbert teased Governor Christie's appearance during last night's monologue.

 YouTube revealed the full list of guest stars for WEIRD CITY, a half-hour sci-fi comedy co-created by Academy Award and Emmy Award winning writer Jordan Peele and Emmy Award nominated writer Charlie Sanders (Key and Peele). The six-episode series will debut exclusively on YouTube Premium on February 13, 2019.
