Goodman Theatre and Derrick Sanders, in collaboration with the Department of Theatre and Music at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), the League of Chicago Theatres, American Theater Company, Court Theatre, Victory Gardens Theatre and AtlantaÂ’s True Colors Theatre Company are proud to announce the finalists of Chicago's August Wilson Monologue Competition. Steppenwolf Theatre Company has just announced ensemble member Tracy Letts will join the cast of Penelope, by Enda Walsh and directed by ensemble member Amy Morton. Penelope also features ensemble members Ian Barford and Yasen Peyankov with Scott Jaeck and Logan Vaughn. Ensemble member John Mahoney recently left the production, due to an unexpected death in his family. (more...)
