Queens Theatre is launching its Winter/Spring 2017 Season with a diverse array of presentations, including the acclaimed dance company FLAMENCO VIVO CARLOTA SANTANA, Neil Simon's Last of the Red Hot Lovers and a new Queens Theatre production of the American classic, The Miracle Worker.

SAN DIEGO, CA - March: Book Three, published by Top Shelf Productions / IDW Publishing, a subsidiary of IDW Media Holdings (OTC PINK: IDWM), received an unprecedented honor when it became the first graphic novel to ever receive the National Book Award. The Jewish Museum continues its fall 2016 slate of lectures, discussions, and events in November with Wish You Were Here: Golda Meir portrayed by award-winning actress Tovah Feldshuh, in conversation with the Jewish Museum's Jens Hoffmann; and noted architect and critic Kenneth Frampton discussing the Maison de Verre (The Glass House), Pierre Chareau's signature building in Paris. 

Few stories are as timeless or reveal the courage and resilience of the human spirit as The Miracle Worker.  Follow the story of young Helen Keller, deaf and blind since infancy, as she finds her way into the world of knowledge and understanding with the help of Annie Sullivan, her gifted tutor.  In some of the most turbulent and emotion-packed scenes ever presented on the stage, Helen overcomes rage and confusion to triumph over her physical disabilities. 

After playwright William Gibson's GOLDA fizzled he reworked the material to form the one woman show GOLDA'S BALCONY. It's been a big success for the actresses who have undertaken the role, and we're lucky to have one of St. Louis' finest portraying this historically important figure. The New Jewish Theatre's current production, which opens their 20th season, gives Lavonne Byers the opportunity to, once again, thoroughly engage and enthrall an audience, while giving us insights into Golda Meir's fascinating life story. This is an incredibly well crafted presentation that definitely deserves your attendance.
