Theater Press Agent David Gersten Passes Away at 67

David Gersten, Vice-President of ATPAM, the Association of Theatrical Press Agents & Managers (IATSE Local 18032), died on Monday, April 6 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer.

MGM Television has closed a deal with Emmy Award nominated creator/showrunners Will Scheffer and Mark Olsen (HBO's Big Love, Getting On) to adapt T.C. Boyle's PEN/Faulkner Award winning, landmark immigration-themed novel The Tortilla Curtain as a premium series. Prophetically published in 1995, the novel is the most successful of all of T.C. Colony Theatre to Present THE ROAD TO APPOMATTOX, Begin. 2/11

The Colony Theatre will present the fourth production of its historic 40th Anniversary season, the West Coast Premiere of THE ROAD TO APPOMATTOX by Catherine Bush, directed by Brian Shnipper. THE ROAD TO APPOMATTOX will preview on Wednesday, February 11; Thursday, February 12; and Friday, February 13 at 8:00pm. It will open on Saturday, February 14 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, March 15.
