Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH), the groundbreaking and newly revitalized classical and contemporary ballet company, will open the 2013 Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival season in the Ted Shawn Theatre June 19-23. Led by founding member and former principal dancer, Artistic Director Virginia Johnson, the company will present a range of classic and new ballet work including George Balanchine's Agon, The Lark Ascending by Alvin Ailey, and Far But Close by Canadian contemporary choreographer John Alleyne.

The 2012-2013 season at BalletMet isn't over just yet. As we head into spring and summer, the dancing continues with summer dance camps, opportunities for learning and enrichment, and the summer-ending free performance at Bicentennial Park by the talented dancers of BalletMet.

Showtime's Masters of Sex has seduced Allison Janney. Janney is officially set for a five-episode arc on the premium network's upcoming drama, starring Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan, who will portray the real-life pioneers of the science of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson.

The Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) held its Vision 2013 Gala honoring actress/singer Vanessa L. Williams on February 26th at the Mandarin Hotel in New York City. Nicholle Tom has joined the cast of Masters of Sex in a recurring role, the series, an adaptation of Thomas Maier's book, stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as real-life pioneers of the science of human sexuality, William Masters and Virginia Johnson, and chronicles their unusual lives, romance and pop culture trajectory. Tom will play Maureen, the more established figure at the brothel. She is not happy to be asked to volunteer to be part Dr. Masters (Michael Sheen) medical demonstrations. Maureen is comfortable with her sexuality. She is not afraid to speak her mind.

New York based actress Helene Yorke is set for the new Showtime drama series, Masters of Sex. Yorke (30 Rock, A Gifted Man), who was featured in the pilot episode, will now recur throughout the first season. An adaptation of Thomas Maier's book, Masters stars Michael Sheen and Lizzy Caplan as William Masters and Virginia Johnson, real-life human sexuality research scientists. Also a notable theater actress, Yorke will continue her role as Jane, one of the pair's primary subjects in their experiments.

Dance Theatre of Harlem (DTH) will make its highly anticipated return to the New York stage at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Frederick P. Rose Hall, Time Warner Center, New York City on Wednesday, April 10, for six performances through April 14.

The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association today announced the lineup for the 41st edition of Dance on Camera.
